B i o g r a p h y

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, I started singing with the Treble Chorus of New England. I continued my love for music while studying with Marie Stultz and singing with the Young Opera Company of New England. During my time with the company, I performed in both opera scenes and full operas, all fully staged and costumed.
In May of 2012 I graduated from Ithaca College, with degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education and studied with Dr. David Parks. I toured with the Ithaca College Choir performing the Bach B minor Mass during the fall of 2011, and also in the spring of 2010, and 2012.  I also performed in two world premieres of pieces written by Christopher LaRosa, master classes with Sharon Sweet, Hyunah Yu and Carol Webber, performed in numerous recitals. I also served as the Musical Director for the Freshman Musical, First Year Cabaret for two years.

I graduated from Westminster Choir College with my Masters in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy with an emphasis in Performance, and studied with Sharon Sweet. At Westminster, I performed with the Westminster Choir College Opera, sang in a master class with Dawn Upshaw, and sang in the Westminster Choir College American Art Song Festival.
Most recently I sang Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel with Manhattan Opera Studio and covered Marzelline in Fidelio and Clorinda in La Cenerentola with NEMPAC Opera Project. I have also performed The Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute, with Piccola Opera in Concord New Hampshire. I have also attended CoOPERAtive as a Fellow (2015), and OperaWorks Advanced Artist program (2014). In December of 2014, I was awarded an Encouragement Award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions at the Connecticut District Division.
